Can you guess how much this watermelon weighs? If you guessed 87 lbs you would be wrong, but if you guessed 16.49 lbs you would be exactly right! Last Friday afternoon was a blast as residents soaked up the sun, enjoyed each others company and gobbled up all the fresh watermelon they could eat.Luckily the rain subsided long enough for us to pile on to the patio and enjoy the beautiful flowers and warm weather. The new gazebo furniture has withstood the elements quite well and plays even better. In all, over half of our residents made it outside to participate. Our new activities director Tauna is a master at getting people excited for activities and getting them to participate.
