Mr. Bland has nearly 17 years of management experience in the health care industry. Having worked for SDCH for five years in the past, he is “returning home” after ten years of great success as a facility administrator at local care centers in the Bountiful and Salt Lake areas.
For over 32 years South Davis Community Hospital has been devoted to innovative specialty health care programs, serving residents throughout Davis County, the state of Utah and neighboring intermountain states. The not-for-profit facility is a genuine “community hospital” offering long term nursing home care; long term acute care; a pediatric transitional care program; home health and hospice services; specialty Alzheimer and dementia memory care; orthopedic rehabilitation; assisted living; wound care; respiratory therapy, and tracheostomy and ventilator-dependent expertise.
Mr. Bland states, “Joining such a renowned and unique institution as SDCH gives me a chance to significantly contribute to the continued success of this important health care facility in our community.”
“South Davis Community Hospital is extremely excited to have someone as experienced as David join our team,” noted Lloyd R. Hicken, M.D., SDCH Chairman of the Board. “In addition to heading our organization as CEO, David will play an integral part in helping to further promote the entire SDCH campus of specialty services.”
