Today we celebrate Flag Day. Our residents have a deep love and respect for the American flag and they know the price that was paid for freedom as many of them or their loved ones served. We had a wonderful, simple ceremony to honor our flag. Two boyscouts came and carried out the raising of our flag outside of Barton Creek Assisted Living. Our residents paid tribute to our amazing country as we were lead in the Pledge of Allegiance and closing it by singing the National Anthem. Tender feelings were felt as well as sincere appreciation of what that flag means to each one of us. Happy Flag Day!!!!
We had the wonderful opportunity to have one of our residents share and hang an authentic flag that was flown over the United States Capitol. What an honor.
This place looks really nice and clean! It looks like a place I would want to be in some day. I hope they have assisted living in Seattle like this.
